I'm am currently travelling so always using a different pc, I have just purchased the Sony NW-E507.

I put roughly 50 tracks on it with no problems but I have just come to another pc to put a few more tracks on it and sonic stage is saying it must delete everything and initilize the player!!

Obviously this is not what I want so I thought fine I'll back up the files and load them again after I put the new tracks on to see if that would work, obviously it didn't.

So now I have two folders NWWM and OMGAUDIO with all my 50 tracks on the desktop, and the player with a new file system and the 6 new tracks, is there a way to get my 50 tracks back on?

Is there a different way of doing this everytime, different software or something? Sony must have known people may be using different PC's and want to add tracks on the move from interent cafes like my self.

Normally I would sit down for a few hours trawling the web for anwsers but thats a bit difficult in a sweaty room with slow computers!

Thanks for any help you may be able to give.

Cheers

Stewart

Japtastic,

Welcome To"AtracLIFE"

In which format you have stored your Files in your E507.If it is Atrac then You will need to use HI-Md rendering software or If its in Mp3 then use GYM(Xispes) software in Software section..

Also you can import Mp3 via Mp3 Files manager ver2.& It will not asks you to format your player as well(Mp3`s only)..But for using Mp3 files manager you will need to install Firmware ver2..

Thanks for all your help, got rid of those 50 tunes and started again, using MP3 file manager seems to work fine, using Media Player to rip to MP3 from CD.

I really want to get the most out of the ATRAC format though as I only have 1GB, is there a similar program to transfer ATRAC? Bearing in mind I will be on the move and using different pc's all the time?

Cheers
