Selling a brand new, 2 month old, mint condition, never left house SONY MZ-RH10 HIMD MINIDISC RECORDER. This is one of the 1st MD recorders that has lighted text so you can see it in the dark when recording a show/concert. Its also one of the 1st MD recorder to be able to record in UNCOMPRESSED LINEAR WAV.

Also there is no need for pausing/standby to set recording levels anymore. You simply set the MD recorder to REC MODE "MANUAL" before you begin recording, and then adjust the rec levels w/ the track left/right arrows or the JOG DIAL up/down just like you would with a SHARP. I'm not gonna babble on about the specs of the unit, you can research it on google or minidisc.org etc, but I wanted to clear up that this sony doesn't need to be paused to set the levels while your recording and most people just assume you have to because its a sony. Wrong, this model was designed for live tapers by sony, as they are finally realizing after a decade 95% of their customers are live tapers and those drawbacks are now erased.

Paid $240 brand new in june '06, will let it go for $200 plus shipping. I also have 6 Unopened HIMD minidiscs that go for $4 each retail($24), they are expensive like DATs. I never had a need to use this unit or the HIMD discs so if some wants those as well I will sell it all for $220 plus shipping. Please e mail me at vilebuzz@hotmail.com if you are seeing this post a few weeks from now 8/29 please e mail me as you never know if its still available.
