Have you guys recently been to Sony's website? I just found out that they had some flash players with coloured oled, and I thought that they were pretty cool. Wonder how they would sound compared to md players, they claim to have "clear bass" tech and also come with some noise-canceling headphones. Should I get one? This could be my kick-around player that I have been looking for, or should i rather pick up an EH70. Anyways just thought that I might share something.

ps. I would really, really, like a new md unit with coloured oled, buy it in a heartbeat.

Edit: a thousand apologies, how would you know what im talking about without without any mention of a model or series number. Heres a link instead http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/servlet/C...tionPath=n46881

I intend to bring my gear to compare the sound quality. Did I also mention that in the Japanese release information they claimed that these new flash players provide the best sound quality ever attained by Sony... Hehheh sounds like a challenge I guess we will know after I go give it a try. Even in the slim chance of them sounding better than a RH1 I would say it is because of the Noise-Canceling headphones they include. Anyways enough rambling.

here is the source of sony's claim, and yes i do realize engadget is not a very reliable source. http://www.engadget.com/2006/10/12/sonys-n...-walkmans-ever/

but i have this link to support it http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/docs/20061012/sony2.htm

and whats interesting about these walkmans is that they can play atrac lossless, where as my RH1 upon others cannot or am i missing out on something here?
