yesterday i received from japan the MZ-RH1 model.

first thing i tried is to transfer via USB on Pc my SP live recordings i did

with a netMD.

SS did work fine.

today i tried again with other SP live recordings and it doesnt work.

i tried also with the MD i used yesterday succesfully, same, doesnt work.

the HiMD is connected well i think, cause SS recognizes it and the tracks

into the MD.

i select the track, clicking on the arrow nothing happens, no advert no

window nothing.

i've SS 4.2

HELP!!!!

Since it's brand new I suggest you just uninstall and reinstall SonicStage--either 4.2 or the disc with the unit (3.4 ?)

But FIRST run the Backup Tool if there's anything in My Library, just in case.

Also think about the usual culprits for this: antivirus and firewall software. But maybe there was just something a little off in the 4.2 installation.

i did that but nothing changed.

1 hour ago i tried to put into my cd-drive the cd-rom that comes with the unit (i did not try before because when i bought 4 years ago the MZ-N10 from japan, the software was only japanese) and, surprise, the cd got sonic stage not just in english but in my language too.

i installed it (4.4) and now Hi-MD works fine!!!! gosh, it was scaried.

bests
