I just got an email from B&H Audio/Video, the website where I purchased my MZ-RH1 (and 1gb discs) last year using the all-too-convenient 'Bill Me Later' system.

Anyways, I was then signed up for their email list, and this morning I received an email about "Recording Superb Quality Audio & More!"

Here is the link they provided to their Handheld Digital Audio Recorders Buyer's Guide, and (near the bottom of the page) our beloved MZ-M200 is listed. Their brief description:

The MZ-M200 differs greatly from all of the other devices in this guide because it records audio onto Hi-MD mini-discs, as opposed to Compact Flash, SD cards, or internal hard drives. What's nice is that the discs are inexpensive, rewritable, and hold 1GB of data. The MZ-M200 comes with software for Mac and Windows for transferring files, earbud headphones, a stereo microphone, and a 1GB Hi-MD disc. You can choose to record CD-quality PCM files, or compressed file formats for more recording time.

Nice to see minidisc isn't wholly forgotten yet ^_^

Hi, Everyone!

I know I have'nt do many posts say by my member number

but I'm allways around reading and making my own criteria.

Since the moment I read this post ,I inmediateli enter in the B&H's site

and start to look for the MZ-M200 but could'nt find it under MP3 players but

under (Video Field Recording Devices).

This apears to me very interesting for the market life of MD because

stores are finding that this (format) still has another strong field for

marketing other than simple MP3 player or personal audio player

I like what I see and hope that many more stores or Superstores see what

the owner of B&H saw in Minidisc format.

I´m visiting New York , on August and I´m definitely buing one at B&H, if they have it at the store

and not only sealing it at the web.
