bockers
Trying to transfer track that I have bought form Connect to my NW S706F and Sonic stage won't let me. FFS I have paid for these and yet I could transfer any illegal MP3s without this sort of hassle.Anyone else experienced this. This is the straw that is breaking the camels back for me. My main gripe is the inability to create ATRAC CDs. This has been outstanding for ages and Sony do nothing.
juli_
Trying to transfer track that I have bought form Connect to my NW S706F and Sonic stage won't let me. Anyone else experienced this.Once or twice, yes, and I had to ask them to re-activate the download which they did, but they said it was a 'special' circumstance or something like that! I think I had inadvertently deleted it from the library and wanted to get it back via the download area, but there was no option available to do it. They should re-activate it if you ask, it shouldn't be a big deal. By the way, I have SS 4.3 and there is an option to create an Atrac CD in the drop-down menu I haven't used the feature but I have seen it
bockers
The Create CD feature is there but it fails at 73% Will try for the re-register option but why do they do this.John
juli_
The Create CD feature is there but it fails at 73% Does that happen with all the CDs? Does it mean you've made lots of pretty coasters?? Maybe you could try a different brand of disc (unless you already have), but I find my laptop doesn't like certain brands and I recall making 20 coasters from a set of 20 Maxell discs ----------------------------------------------------------------Will try for the re-register option but why do they do this.I have to agree with you on that. I've learned to burn any downloads from Connect to a cd-rw immediately, but I wish there was an easier way to do it as I have to remember to have a disc available. It is a common problem from v3.4 onwards. Just can't believe Sony will do nothing. Yest they continue to sell ATRAC Car CD players but with no way of creating a disk
pata2001
Trying to transfer track that I have bought form Connect to my NW S706F and Sonic stage won't let me.I got a similar problem quite a while back. All my Connect tracks lost their transfer rights. A Sony support guy even let me re-download the tracks multiple times, but the problem was never solved. I simply gave up (another reason to move away from Sony).
Ascariss
thats why you buy songs in mp3 or wav or a cd format, no transfer problems.

It happened to me I had to call sony connect about 10 times before I was able to d/l a transferable copy. The thing that got me was I already had hundreds of d/l and I had one problem but they were so uptight aboutgiving rights away.
