I am looking to get my first MD recorder, and have targetted either of these models....

I like the look of both units, and the features seem similar...

Which one would you buy, and why..... ?????

Your help please, as my holiday looms, and I am desperate to get one before I go away....

Thanks for your guidance.

They are very similar.

If you care about easily replacing the battery then get the N910. (Uses gumstick battery)

If you care about size get the N10. (internal battery, hence 30g lighter than the N910)

You will be happy with whatever choice you make. They are both great units.

Here in the UK i have been told that the output from this unit is 2.5mW, which a lot of people have slammed....

The N910 is 5mW output here, so its between that and the Sharp IM-MT899 at the moment.. But I cant find the Sharp at a decent price here in the UK at the moment...

Although the N10 only has 2.5mW, I have successfully used mine with my Sennheiser HD570s at a very listenable volume.

I used to have an MZ-E25 (well, still do, infact), and this couldn't drive them as well, hence my desire to upgrade. If you can afford the extra - get the N10 no doubt. smile.gif

Remember of course that most Sony MZ-R and N models have line-level output, both these models included.
