kdulcimer
I need to record music during workshops. I'm currently using a cassette recorder, but then going back and finding the right song after 2 days of one-hour workshop is a major pain. And the sound quality is awful. I'm thinking and MD is the answer, but don't know anything about them, so I have a few questions: 1) It needs to be pretty portable - do I need to carry an additional mic? 2) Can I play it back right on the recorder? 3) Can I create tracks while I record, or do I have to wait until I get back to my pc? 4) If I stop it after recording a song, then turn it off, when I turn it back on, will I be at the next "spot"? Thanks!
mAjEsTiC
heyy there...i'll keep my answers simple and straight to the point, 1) yes and no...there are models which feature a mic inbuilt into the unit...otherwise the others need for you to carry around a mic to plug into the unit... 2) yes u can... 3) yep u can do basically do a lot of editing functions straight from the recorder unit... 4) yes u will be at the next "spot" provided that the MD is set to "Record from end" mode...
