  1. Hello, I have a question to people who use these headphones. I think I used Sony headphones all my life (usually the cheapest ones), in most cases Im 100% satisied with the quality of sound and design for the price, but what cheap headphones lack is reliability, mdr v 150 crack about six months of use the chromed logo vanishes almost within 2 weeks if you mess with it and so on, but theyre cheap and i don't have any complaints about em. The last headphones I bought were XD-200, I was blown away by the quality of sound compared to cans like v150, it's just amazing for their price, but they have some serious problems with finish. Some people don't care about such things, but I do and thats what my question is about. XD-200 had a chromed circle around each earcup - it's very easy to damage or peel off, I had to carefuly remove it with a tooth paste after like a week of use because they look really bad if theres atleast a tiny scratch on this chromed surface. So my question is: what about xd400? Are these circles around the earcups and "SONY" logo chromed like on XD200? or do they have a real layer of metal or real chrome inlays? So is it a finish like on cheap walkmans or is it durable? I plan to buy xd400 and I want to use them for a very long time, I need headphones with a lasting look. S thats why I'm asking.
  2. Thank you! I don't have any codecs like k-lite and i tried reinstalling SS several times. Ithink you are right about the sound driver - i think that this is where the problem is i remember that i updated it the time when these problems began. I'll try re to find a different version of the driver, I'll let you know if it worked
  3. I didn't have any problems with older versions of sonic stage, but when i installed 3.4 and now 4.0 I've noticed that i have a huge problem. All files i converted to atrac with older sonic stage versions are just perfect, but if i take a new mp3 file and try to convert it to atrack it inserts a loud noise or a click at the begining of each song sometimes a few seconds at the begining of some songs are missing, it happens basically with every mp3 file i try to convert to atrack the same thing happens if i try to play imported mp3 files to sonic stage - the playback is deffective. Te mp3's theselves are perfect if i try to play them in sny other player. so it's an internal sonic stage problem on my computer. The only solution i could find is to burn mp3 to a cd-rw using nero and than rip them in atrack using sonic stage - but it takes so much time and if i do so- the playback is perfect and seamless but some tracks have about 1 second of a previous track infront of them - so thats not an option. Is there anything i can do to solve these problems? I really like sonic stage and i don't want to switch to winamp because of this bug. My hardware and software: Windows XP Sonicstage 4.0 CP AMD Sempron 1.4 ghz 512MB RAM 333 MHZ 80 GB SATA HDD REALTEK AC 97 AUDIO (INTERNAL) MAINBOARD - GIGABYTE (a pretty expansive one)
