  1. My MZ-R91 portable player has stopped recording recently, it seems to go through all the motions fine including TOC edit, but when you try and play the disc back the player reports the disc as a blank disc. Looking insidet he player I can see evidence of dust and a bit of fluff around the heads. Could this be the casue of my problems? If this could be th problem whats the best way to clean the heads / lens of a minidsic, I've seen that there are special cleaning discs available but these seem rather expensive, so is it possible t o do it manually with say a cotton bud and some solvent cleaner like Isopropryl alcohol. The playback is working fine still. Thanks B
  2. Hi everyone I've had a minidisc for years and have been happy with it but with the recent shift to digital media formats I'm finind it difficult to get my music on to MD player, hopefully you will be able to help me. I've always coppied my CDs to my MD player using the optical lead connected to my CD/DVD player, and as my CD/DVD player supports CD Text I automatically got the track names on the MD recording. However now all my new music is on MP3, I', now in the situation of having to record my MP3s onto CD using software that uses the ID3 tag of the MP3 as the CD TEXT details. I then have to put this disc into my CD/DVD player and copy the music on to MY MD player. Is there a software package that will allow me to connect my MD player to the optical port on my PC and record MP3s tp my MD player? By efectively emulating as CD TEXT CD player. I know I can connect the mD player to my PC's line out port and record the music, but I then have to got through each track and name it correctly which takes ages. Thanks Butch Sorry forgot to mention that my MD player is a MZ-R91, if that helps!
