I would say...stuffed at this point. I tried a new disc and both LP and LP2 modes. LP produced more frequent TOC Edit jams and LP2 produced drop outs every 5 to 20 seconds. I guess asking the seller if all functions work is not detailed enough. Rats! Know of any fully functional units for sale? Powering down means: Removing the A/C and opening the Battery door. Oh, did I mention the rechargeable battery doesn't hold a charge either?

MZ-N1 used for live recording w/ mic. Recorded tracks have slight clicking sound every 45 sec to 1 min or so on playback. Is lens dirty? If so, how do I clean it? Thanks a gazillion. Daniel

MZ-N1 stuck in TOC Edit. No controls work and eject is jammed. Powering unit down allows normal operation but unit is not saving tracks properly. Recording band rehearsal with mic. Recorded 7 tunes pushing pause in between each. Unit jammed in TOC Edit 3 times. Powering down restored operation each time. In the end, only 3 of 7 tunes were saved. Can anyone please help with this? I got this unit recently on E-Bay and fear it is junk. Could it be the actual disc?

Where is the best place to get replacement rechargeable batteries for MZ-N1?

MZ-N1 main LCD only offers Kanji for naming tracks. Can anyone please tell me how to change the default character set from Kanji to English? Do I have a Japanese only model? Thanks, D
