Hello, everybody. Recently I've upgraded my NE410 which I've been using for 2 years now to a used MZ-RH710 model. Unfortunately I've encountered some problems related to recording music from the PC to this unit, and they don't seem to be related to software, since recording works fine on the old unit. Here are the symptoms: 1. I cannot format discs. Formatting takes indefinite time, and after a couple of hours I just disconnect the unit. I tried formatting a normal 80-min MD disc and a freshly purchased 1 GB disc. Same in both cases. 2. When I tried recording to 80-min MD discs formatted previously to Net MD, recording goes fine, but afterwards either the disc is empty [despite the fact that the MD Simple Burner shows the tracks were recorded], or some tracks simply don't play. I wonder whether this could be a problem with the unit firmware or a technical issue with the unit itself, and I wonder whether any of you have experienced the same problem. If this post should appear elsewhere [forgive me, this is the first time I'm using this forum], please direct me where should I post it. I believe I'm using the most recent SonicStage [4.3] and MD Simple Burner [2.0] versions.
