to me from your picture both cords are looks alike, at this time you should have been using it for over 3 months already. how is it now, the 90's cord ? thanks for great review, I'd love to have one but i'm seriously concerned about the cord, i've had 2 71s with cords folded and broken

thanks for the reply i hope you're right that sony will keep making HDx's battery i remember i was once trying to connect the adapter and switch the built-in batt switch to OFF mode (supposed to save the batt or run without batt) but it couldn't start. you see that i'm using HD3

i'm wondering . Sony's product life cycle is very short , they are now stop making and selling HD3 , so the question is : NEXT 2 YEARS, will I able to find a battery for HD3 ??? Even if there will be still HD3 batt available , usually, here in Asia, sony often asks us to leave the item there , wait for shipment from *come other countries* with a f*@$#$cking price. I read the service manual and found it is not so hard to open a HD3, is there any similar battery that can be used for HD3 ( doesn't matter if it fit or not , just want to conect and use ) or is there any way to run HD3 by using adapter ? ..... I have these questions beccause i'm thinking of using HD3 in my car if my HD3's batt ever gone and there would be no support from Sony
