I enjoy microphone recording from my Sony MZ G-750. I am going to buy another Sony MD recorder with ATRAC. I notice there are varioius types of ATRAC. Are some of the newer ATRAC technologies (e.g. DSP Type-R) not backwards compatable with some of the older types (≥4.5)? I would like to avoid buying a newer unit that records in a format that can't be played on my old MZ G-750. Thanks.
