Aight to answer both ya guys....I posted the same forum disscussion on here http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?p=71223#post71223 no help from them yet....so heres your answers and what ive done...coz I am going 2 solve this what ever it takes.....aight 1st for A440's thread....no I do not have the files.....coz exactly as you said when you were yelling....they got erased when....comp- usa uploaded them off of my walkman.......talking to sony specialists at # 1866-919-7669, 1 at the prompt and 1 again, takes you to a tech rep for this matter.....I have spoke with 2 very customer friendly people....who have actully made me like sony again.....Jacob and Robert.....they are there 24/7 when open mon-fri 8-7 eastern time.....to bang out AVRIN'S ? no the hard-drive was trashed-wiped out.....sent in to westell....they couldnt recover any data....sent me a new hard-drive.....back so thats, that story.....ok A440-I dont know how you are classifing the units code number...but it simply is a sony walkman with model # nw-e505.....I was using version 3.0 and as you said im screwed practically however I read Jacob your reply: he said you were very intelligent on the matter....however wrong in some cases....your refering to a minidisc player when the walkman is an mp3 and as well....I have salvaged the oma files, now he said if they were omg...than id be screwed....to your quote on Himdrend. and the other applications ive used....yes those are apps only used for oma files in your sonic stage lib. true....so with those programs im screwed...practically......any way Jacob got me really close to the answer which was through sonys new mp3 converter....however the oma files were found but would not convert due to copy-right infringement...(DAMNIT) heres the site maybe this will help most users out.......I HOPE IT DOES: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=NWE505&upd_id=2971&os_id=7&ULA=YES ok so to sum up where I am....Jacob gave me this # 1-888-222-7669 its for customer resource solutions: aka they can let you know what the engineers say....you cant talk to them but you can open up a filed case with them.....Jacob told me to ask for a specialist.....so yeh.....I mean I still got 120+ beats to work with.....however 1 special beat for my daughter in the time being is lost.....and some other 1's that r jus sick......any way im out for now.....hope this post helps some of you lost souls..... Ok hi...im new to this forum....I am an hiphop artist who had most of my instrumentals backed up on sonic stage with my sony walkman....my luck my hard drive crashed and I went to comp usa and they were able to pull the files off the walkman and put them on a cd for me....these files are in open mg audio format....I desperatly need a conversion to mp3 to finish the demo ive been working on....MARC I have tried your himd renderer with no success....I even downloaded for a price the wma converter which they even show of open mg conversion.....on a web ad.....when I try to plug and play the files on sonic stage (the latest version) it tells me they cant play with out obtaining a license....entered my email and pass. and that jus takes me to a page to purchase music from there store....basically a gimic...any way look if any 1 can help me I would highly appreciate it....MC SUSPECT www.myspace.com/mcsuspect1983
