I am using an ECM-719 microphone to record with my mz-m200. The instructions say to use the following type of battery: SR-44. I have found it difficult to find this battery but have found an LR-44 which fits in the mic just fine. Is this an acceptable replacement battery? The other thing is that when I put the battery in the microphone, I find that the light is dimly illuminated even when the mic is in the OFF Position. Is this normal? It seems to me that it is always on if the battery is placed inside the microphone, regardless of its ON/OFF position. Any help would be Appreciated!

Yes thank you very much. I actually just kept it charging after the LED went off for the additional prescribed 2 hrs not knowing whether it was charging further. Anyway, now I know it was! Regarding the Antishock G protection 2 vs G protection. Any difference? Which one do I have on my unit? Thanks again!

Does anyone know about the charging specifics of the MZM200? It says in the manual that it takes 60 minutes for it to charge to 80% and an additional 2 hrs for 100% charge. After I charge my md player for 60 mins., it seems to shut off. How do I know if it has been charged to 100%? I just bought my mzm200 a week ago. It doesnt mention anything on the box about USB 2.0 although it does in many reviews. There are a few other things like antiskip G protection 2 and just G protection which seem to be ambiguous. Does my device have Gprotection2 or G protection? Is there much of a difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
