Just received audio which raintheory rescued for me by TOC cloning, which I was unable to perform with my equipment. He was helpful, generous, quick and a pleasure to deal with - and my group is hugely grateful to him. He cloned the disc in double-quick time after I sent it across the Atlantic to him, and posted it on the web for me to download on the same day. Thanks again, raintheory!

This evening I got a friend to recording an important concert using my Sony MD-R70. She says that the recording worked fine, but my disc only shows a single track, a few seconds long, which I had created earlier when I was showing her how to start recording. I suspect what might have happened is that she may have pulled out the plug without pressing Stop, so that the TOC didn't write properly at the end of the concert. There are various cloning pages around, but i) they don't cover my model, and ii) I'm worried about breaking my minidisc player by trying to defeat the disc sensor mechanism. Can anyone advise me as to my options? I think the data might be there on the disc, but I've got no way of knowing, or of rescuing it. Or, of course, it might just be that my friend mucked up and it's not there at all. Is there any way I can even find out? Thanks
