For the custom EQ settings, what are the frequencies?

hi im thinking of getting a mz-rh1, but before I do that, I want to find out a few things. i'm new to hi-md, having previously owned two standard md recorders. can each different track have its own EQ setting? the eq bands, how many are available and what frequencies are they? whats this 'normalize' thing i see in the description from minidisc.org? can i use a professional mic, like shure sm57 for it? is that audio out on the rh1 a regular 3.5mm or (special made) smaller? how long does it takes to download/upload? "HD Digital amp"? from minidisc.org - what is it? does it come with a usb cable? what is this 'cap' on the EU version people are talking about? and finally... advantages/disadvantages over an ipod/mobile phone?
