Hi all --- I'm beginning the process of transferring all my old mini discs to my computer (a PC) and was writing to ask for opinions on the best way to do it. I've got a number of Minidiscs recorders/players starting from my ancient MZ-1, MZ-R50, MZR-909, and a MDSJB930 deck. I have lots and lots of field recording I want to upload and would prefer to upload them using some sort of higher speed technique (USB-firewire etc), but haven't found noticed any way to do that. I'd also prefer NOT go through the line-out because generally the A/D converters are not particularly good and would prefer to go directly through my good sound card on my computer (m-Audio). I could youse the SPDIF or Toslink output on the MDS-JB930, but that is also in real time (not high speed). Any suggestions?
