Hello ladies and gentlemen. I've visited this board every few years since its been here. Allow me to thank everyone and introduce myself as a fellow minidisc-discer....taper...er recorder... I have a MZ-R700 which I have used and its been great for lectures. I also used it to do sound design and field recording for several projects in college. And on the side, I took it to a few concerts and always got distorted recordings. Well, after learning that several fantastic bands are coming to town, I visited here again a week ago and learned about the radioshack attenuator. I also hope to build my own mics soon after finding plans from greenmachine. Thanks again I have the Radioshack 33-3028 stereo lapel mic that I've always used with my minidisc and have gotten impressive results, however, I think I should get some SP-TFB-2's. Does anyone else have this radioshack model and have any opinions on it? (It was pulled from stores in 2003) Heres the link for spec's http://support.radioshack.com/productinfo/...nes&Reuse=N Since the RS 33-3028 Freq res. is 30-18k and SP's are 20-20k, I'm guessing I will enjoy at least a mild improvement in sound quality. Does anyone have any other mics to suggest from other sites? I know Microphone Madness has a lifetime warranty on some of thier stuff. Thanks again!
