  1. Well, mine is actually a NET MD (I'm going to check your link presently). There's a little sticker on the MD that says "USB connection - high speed transfer" Is there no way to get the files on my PC or to a CD? I guess I should read the FAQ and browse some topics first - apologies if these q's have been asked already. It's just that I'm really frustrated having had the MD in my drawer for years, now finally deciding to use it and not being able to transfer files Thanks George/GTR
  2. Thanks, that helped! I can now play the tracks via Sonic Stage...BUT it refuses to transfer them to the library, saying they cannot be transferred, as they were recorded on the MD (??) I'm not sure I get that Thanks for your help (and patience!)
  3. I've had my MD for five years but only now starting to really use it (duh, I know!!) I do not have the CD that probably came with it. Anyway - when I plugged it in today into my PC (Win XP) via the USB connection, the comp recognized the device and asked for the installation disc. As I don't have it, I went online and d/l-ed the appropriate driver. Now, with the driver downloaded and installed, the PC has completely stopped recognizing anything being plugged in at all. I unplug the MD, then back in...NADA. And yes, I have rebooted the comp and also reinstalled the driver Any help greatly appreciated George/GTR
