Thankyou for your great review, I can tell it was time consuming. I just received my DR1 and wanted to ask you in regards to recording in the mic 2 input, which you prefer, if you use a stereo mic will it record in stereo or is it a mono mic input. If mic 2 is mono, is there a workaround which will enable me to get stereo without using #1 ? P.S. Recorded my band today at a gig and did a good job except the vocals were a little too hot. I had the gain set at med, and the limiter off. Do you think low gain with the limiter on would be better?
