so, as far as i've understood, there are just some tiny differences between those two models... since i'll have to buy a used one, I think i'll just get the one that's in best condition should both of them work (with dislpay also) with the RM-MC35ELK and/or the RM-MC38EL ??

and does the radio remote also work with the RH710??

yeah, i know about the sound "cheating" (i had to do that to my hd3). and about the remotes, i have a RM-MC38EL for my hd3 (it should display the song and album/group titles for those md units, isn't it?), and a RM-MC35ELK is just on the way

thanks for your answers I forgot to mention that I don't really care too much about the mic-in, it's really not important to me. and I don't think i'd use the MD record through line-in connection, ... maybe just in some certain times, but for me the most important is the usb connection (i have a nw-hd3 so i know the technical stuff) and I have no md players right now, so this one will be my first one since I sold my old fellow R707 back on march 2004 (ahh snif), thus I have no previous md discs to be played on this new unit is any of the two more friendly to use, or supposed to have longer lasting life (or supposed to fail more)??

any strong difference between those two? i want to purchase one, so i've been reading some technical reviews and they seem to have pretty much the same specs. do you guys have any of them? thanx
