I own a Sharp MD-MT200 legacy minidisc recorder. Obsolete, yes, but so stealthy! Several years ago I saw some internally-padded hard plastic cases which would accommodate a typical legacy MD unit. These allowed you to record with the MD recorder without fear of accidentally pressing its buttons and ruining your recording. They had holes through which one could thread microphone wires. Some even came with built-in microphones! Minidisco apparently no longer carries these items. I wonder if they're even made anymore? If not, where can I find the materials to make such a case from scratch? I know better than to look in Wal-Mart or any other mall store.
