Does anyone know if there any of the portable MD recorders have variable A-B editing like on the Denon DM-1000? On the Denon when you're doing an A-B edit, once you've set the A & B edit points you have the option of listing to a short clip of audio from around the edit point to check if the edit works, and you can also shift the A & B edit points around (to a limited amount). I find this to be a far quicker way of editing than working with a computer (and often with more interesting results) so I've gone back to using my DM-1000 but would like to have something I could take with me so I wasn't confined to working on edits at home. FYI, the DM-1000 is a rackmount unit, about the same size as their pro dual cassette decks (great units as well with variable pitch, independent recording and cheap on e-bay). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers Richard
