  1. Thank you for your quick response I guess this brings up the question, do you know of any stand alone mini disk recorder that will record in many different formats of my choosing? or do you know of any way to transfer my old mini disk music back to my pc? As all things go mini disk will continue to evolve as will music formats and it's going to prove very annoying if every time I need a new mini disk player all my old mini disks are defunked and have to be trashed.
  2. Ok, I just got the MZ-EP11 mini disk player to replace the one that got melted by my idiotic friend (no more needs to be said on that) For starters my previous mini disk player was a MZ-NE410 (if you need all the spec and info on that you can go to this link ( http://www.minidisc.org/part_Sony_MZ-NE410.html ) Anyway I just got my new player in, MZ-EP11 and guess what, none of my old mini disks will play on it! I don't know if this is a quirk or set this way by sony to be annoying but is there anyway I can get my minidisks to play? I don't have the backups on my comp anymore and the music is stuck on those disks. I don't see why there should be any problem since I used sonic stage to record all my previous music. What can I do?
