so stick with SP even if im only recording avg 128kps MP3's?

hey all stupid question but... if im recording using the optical TOS link on my laptop to my MD in SP mode. Yet the MP3's im playing are max 256kps, will i get a lot of articfacts and stuff when listening, would you recoment just recording in LP2? peace

i cant see sonic stage getting up anytime soon, im running a macbook. HAHA But i dont realy mind i can just record line in in LP2 cant i? would you recomend keeping the sony headphones or using my sennheisers?

yer thats cool. doesnt really matter anyway. so i ended up getting it, thought it was a bit of a steal after checking ebay and amazon. started recording all my stuff in SP real time. the sound quality is just amazing. best $50 ive spent in a while. O and yer i am aussie, there many other aussies here? there seem to be quite a lot of us snapping up MD's online from what ive seen.

Personaly and im also speacking for a few others here, but i think ppl are going for minidiscs and CD's again coz we're all so f**king sick of ipod. sure its convientient, cool, small, etc. but everybody has one, the sound quality and batt life are atrocious, and apple buolds in planned obselecence so withing 3 or 4 years your ipod is a brick that cant hold its charge or work with your computer. plus MD just has the cool factor. like bringing back the 90's one piece at a time.

yer it comes with everything included in the box, dock, cables, extra batt pack etc. full working order too. and i did click the link, i just think personal opionions are usually better than a specs page, so theres no need to be rude mate.

but is it worth my time?

hey all i dont know why but recently ive got an urge to go and get me a minidisc. Ive fond a brandnew MZ N10 still in its box for $50AUD, thats about $47 USD ish. IS this a good price/good Net MD. imnot interested in HiMD yet. Plus can someone tell me the ways to record onto this MD, how many minutes i can get out of SP, LP2, LP4 etc Sorry for the noob question. thanks
