A quick update... I ordered the cheapo batteries. (StreamSonic Gumstick) They arrived at my house within two days. They charged fine. The MD player is working fine. Individual charge life and long term longevity...I can't comment on now. But...I'm certainly happy so far. Have fun, -todd

Hi... Quick question! Anyone have any experience with StreamSonic Gumstick Batteries? I can get one (shipped) for $10.50. ...Or I could get the Sony version for $29.95.
