I'm trying to troubleshoot an error on the Sony MZ-NH1 for a friend. I know little about minidisc players, so I'll just tell you what's happening: When I turn on the player, the display shows a spinning disc, a battery icon (2/3 full), "REC", a folder icon, and "HI-MD". The disc can be heard starting to spin. The word "LINE" appears for a second or two, then goes away. A clock appears and counts up until it reaches between 7 and 10 seconds, then it's replaced by a flashing "REC ERR" for a few more seconds. After that, the unit shuts down. The unit hasn't been used for a few months, but worked fine last time. Any ideas as to what we can do?
