Don't know how much a Edirol R09hr costs in your neck of the woods, I moved over to this mainly because of the ease of transfer to my p.c as well as it's overall idiot proof features. Check out Greenmachines mics if you are in Europe, I've been using one of his mics and they've served me very well. If you are in the States or Canada then try Church Audio's handmade mics. Not wishing to repeat previous posts but everything starts with you mics so if you want a good dynamic range then forget those cheap and nasty Sony mics.......You get what you pay for....both of the above suggestions will get you a very good deal. Much appreciated, I assume that all other settings are the same as if you were using external mics. I'll be plugging into Line In and using Manual rec levels, are there any observations regarding setting levels when rigged up to the desk or just the same as stealth recordings with external mics? Hi All' Been some time since I was around these parts. I've been asked to record a band using my Sony MZ-NH700 and my Greenmachine mics rigged up to the mixing desk. Can anyone give me advice on what cables need to be connected to which Output/inputs etc. Looking forward to some sound advice David.
