Hello, everyone. I used to use MDs for recording purposes for years (I'm a singer), though I now use a device that records to .wav on flash cards. ...but I bought an NZ-NE410 today for $10 as a backup portable music player, and it works great. The manual only says "insert a dry AA alkaline battery." Does anyone else who owns this model know if this particular MD player will use LiOn or NiCad batteries? I'm afraid to try for fear of burning up my $10 investment. The reason why I ask is that the NetMD used an entire AA alkaline battery transferring music files from my computer to the player, and I'd love to have a fixed investment of rechargeable batteries lying around rather than having to buy AA's every other day. Thank you for this resource.
