Ended up not being able to record. Front row was great for the view, sucked for stealth possibility. Ushers everywhere up there and no way to conceal the mic well. But man did I learn a lot going into that situation (even without the recording process)! I totally think I could have pulled it off from several rows back, with some more visual cover, but that front row thing killed me. The show was absolutely great. His last stop in the home town of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. And actually, the bass was incredibly powerful at many points. Songs on myspace and on the cd don't really prepare you for what the live show was like. It was a very wide range of stripped down soft acoustic songs and really crazy noise rock with pounding bass drums! Thanks for the advice anyways, and I will be sure to continue here on Minidisc.org
