I would really like to have everybody’s opinion on the best MD case. I’ve been reading members’ insights and it looks like it might take 2 different cases to meet our needs: one for “on the go” protection and one for home storage. Portable protection could be accomplished by a poly snap-tight case (like those that come with most flash memory cards for your camera). There’s a flip-top poly box that came with 5 MiniDiscs that Sony (I think) produced. The home storage case seems to be at the center of most discussions. Concerning the case that was used for pre-recorded MDs, some like them, some don’t. There doesn’t seem to be much love out there for the new oblong Hi-MD cases. The larger size of the previous two does help by providing larger insert card size for bigger type and picture. And I don’t know about you, but my eyesight as I get older makes it harder and harder for me to read the end labels of MDs and the ends of flip cases. A CD jewel case sized MD case would provide good storage, large printing and picture size, and readily available storage racks and drawers. But of course the CD case might be considered bulky to some. So here’s my question: If you could only have ONE type of MD case, what would you prefer? A) A poly snap-tight case The Pre-Recorded MD case C) The new Hi-MD case D) The MD-sized flip case E) A CD-sized MD jewel case Thanks for your input.
