  1. Yes, but 2 boxes arent a sufficient data-base to make a profound statement. But on all of my boxes since 2003, when i bought my MD-Device, i had several problem with the NetMD software (BeatJam). On some boxes it worked without a hassle on others i got program-crashes or bluescreens. Btw, the Net-MD-driver on this forum seems to exactly the same driver as on the BeatJam-CD. This driver was released in 2003. The Sharp-Homepage does not offer anything for download except users-manuals.
  2. Uhm. Hard to say without information from Sony about this. But on my boxes is seem to apply. But wait! If i remember correctly i only got a program exception and not a bluescreen on box three (which has a Socket 939 board, the others have AM2) . So i re-installed SonicStage and the NedMD-Driver on this box ... and voila ... it works even without switching the box to a single core. As a preliminary conclusion i can only say it does not work on AM2-boxes using both cores.
  3. Hi sfbp. I did not use BeatJam but SoniscStage 4.3 with the driver fo the Sharp provided by this forum. Like is said i used CPU Control and crippled my Dual-Core to a Single-Core. This was all i did. But older software has numerous problems with multi-core cpu's which os sort of burdensome because i for my part only own Dual-Cores. Cheers Andy
  4. Solved !! I found an utility which alows control of the cpus. So as a first try i reduced my Dual-Core to a plain single core. With this modification i successfully transferred a whole CD to my NetMD-Device. Maybe this proves helpful for others facing the same problem. Cheers Andy
  5. Ups. Sorry. Hmmm... So you think it is the MD-Device itself is causing trouble. I'll try a liniein recording tomorrow. Regards Andy
  6. Thanks for answering. I dont think i have a hardware problem on my boxes. Remember there are tree of them all AMD Dual-Cores and all show the same behavior. The only idea i got so far is that the NetMD-drive cannont cope with Multi-processor CPU's. Andy Hi Bob. Driver should be fine. I found one matching here in the download-area of this forum an it looks good in the device manager. But there is no go. Copying songs from a CD to the MD results in a bluescreen.
  7. Hi. I have an nasty problem with my Sharp IM-DR410H. I get a bluescreen (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) on each of my three boxes if i try to record songs from a CD on a MD. (Windows XP Service Pack 3) It happens with the original software (BeatJam) and with sonicstage 4.3 using apropriate NetMD-driver provided by this forum. The error seems to occur when the system actually atempts to write in the MD. Cheers Andy
