  1. Well, i did read the minidisc.org page on it--not that i could really make out the battery info there--i checked it to see about replacing it, etc., my fault. I have a few other Sony portables so maybe the nickel battery will work in one of those. i will search that... thanks, any other info you could provide would be most appreciated
  2. Thanks for the info. (I just bought a Sony NH-14WM 1400 mAh rechargable gumpack battery from Minidisco which they said can be used for the MZ-E10.) Guess i hope i don't have to try it too soon. I will do a search for TBR. (usually i'm pretty good with working with small electronics.)
  3. Hello Fellow MD Lovers! This is my first post to this forum. I love the MD and have owned lots of decks and portable models over the years. Anyway, i bought a Sony MZ-E10 back in 2004 which i love and still is working fine, but my question is how long generally can i expect the gumstick battery to last before i need to replace it. The original battery still charges and works fine--just preparing for the future. (I did recently buy a replacement battery--haven't installed yet--just thinking ahead!) As i said the unit still works fine, though i did notice the time between charges has gotten shorter, but this is expected i guess since it is 5 years old. Anybody with experience with length of battery life please reply! (p.s. i used to get affordable blanks at my nearby Circuit City--of course that's not possible now--hopefully blanks will still be available in the future without getting them straight from Japan?!?)
