Thanks narp, maybe I need to find a translator to see if the text indicates simultaneous release.

I am trying to find out when the Sony MZ-R3 portable MD recorder was introduced in the US market. I checked on www.minidisc.org, which says that it was introduced in 1995, but it is unclear whether that means Japan, the US, or elsewhere. Thanks.
