Hi grasshoppers
welcome to the forum
I also managed to pick up a MZ-NH600 for pennies when a local electronics store that sold this kind of gear, along with higher-end mp3 players was going out of business (I wish I had gotten there in time to the the MZ-RH1 they had!) I also have a deck at home ad one in the car, as well as the first MD player I bought, a Sony MZ-R700, which I still sometimes use for recording.
I mostly use MDs for making digital copies of vinyl albums to play on the move, as well as copying the songs I bought from the iTunes store so I can play them in the car.
I've always thought they were a great idea, and will continue to use them for a long time yet, despite having an iPod and an iPhone.
