Thank you everyone. I took it in for repairs since it was still under warranty and the guy said since I hadn't purchased a new battery since I bought it, I should replace it and see if that solves the issue. Unfortunately, I had to leave to tour the Caribbian before the battery arrived. I will share your posts with the tech guy if the new battery is not the fix.I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.

Before I send my MZ-RH1 in for repairs, does any one have any insight to what makes the unit shut off while recording a show with the external mic plugged in. I got it in '07 and have performed about 250 shows and now in the middle of the set, it just shuts off! any ideas, anyone?
