Thank you very much Stephen for your reply. Yes in Italy the power supply is 220V, but I don't know were I can verify the Volts in Latvia's unit (manual guide?? what language??) I have already a SONY Minidisc deck MDS-JB930 but it can not be connect with pc, so I want to buy the MDS-JB980. I will verify in Sony site and with the client site I hope that it will be a good purchase. Bye

I want to buy a minidisc recorder Sony MDS-JB980 from a site in Latvia (LV). Can someone tell me if there are compatibility problems when used in Italy? Thanks
