    Hello. I have the same mp3(vgf-ap1l). The hdd in this player is Toshiba MK4004GAH. Look this jpg http://wap32.homeunix.net/pics/vaio/DSC_1101.JPG , 25x2 pin - CF card Maybe CF card it will be work I will test this.
