No the DL songs don't play, either does the ripped song. That has to do with computer as my volume or hardware quick working the other day for some reason. Checked and deleted songs from optimized files and same thing still not working. And I can delete songs from computer and no problems there. Even emptied rec bin and the all deleted.

OK I can rip a CD and load it on to my md. But not my mp3 songs that I DL. Yes I am hook up to internet. Not sure what needs to authenticated though????

Yeah tried deleteing and reloading different songs about a dozen times. didn't make a diff. Tried mp3 and wav files doesn't seem to matter. Tried different usb cables but nothing wants to work. I don't want to have to buy a mp3 player as I love the md player. But if this keeps up may have to move on LOL.

Thank Arvin i used your driver from other post. So it know see's my walkman. When I try to load songs it gives me error. Does the file format need to be changed???? its mp3 right now. If it needs to be changed what does it need to be chaged to and is there a program to change it from mp3 to whatever???

Hi new to forums. I lost my cd that came witn sony md player. I'm trying to get software loaded to put music on new md. I need to know what all needs to be done step by step to get music on mds again. I downloaded ss 4.3 what else needs to be done??????? Asmy player doesn't get reconizen in the sonicstage 4.3.
