Hi, I was just checking on the Sony Support site for the compatibility list for Digital Audio devices supported by USB on the current SONY Car audio offerings, to my amazement they do not offer support for the NWHD* series...... My much beloved NWHD5 lcd screen has failed. Has anybody had a similar experience ? I believe the problem is with a loose connection as the Backlight still functions and the unit plays back fine (if you can remember how to navigate from memory! ) Typically the unit is out of warranty and Sony charge €105 for all repairs regardless of what is actually fixed... I am debating if it worth repairing, I had a nasty experience trying to get a NWHD3 repaired in the past which was eventually replaced with this HD5. I am considering opening it up to see if it is just a loose connection but previous attempts at fixing MD players have been rear disasters... Any advice is appreciated. Phil
