Hi all, I have one Yamaha MDX-596 which is always appearing Mono signal on the screen and I don't how to switch it between Stere0/Mono without remote control. Remote control is lost for long time ago. Actually, if Stereo has been set, it will not show Stereo Text on the screen. It isn't a problem when i'm play back the MD but problem is record by using analog signal. Please help! Where should I buy MDX's remote? I living in Thailand and can't found here or either on Ebay. Hi Philippe, Thanks for your suggested on this. I have tried to replace both of BU-30 and BU-1 but it is not working. I been there 4 months ago for work and travel, I also try to find the shop who selling MD Deck but couldn't found it. I am also the owner of MD shop here in Thailand. Hi all friends here, I own Sony CD/MD Deck player : Sony MXD-D5C. Now, the CD cannot read any CD and I think it need to be changed the CD Optical pick-up. However, I can't find the repair part here in Thailand. Base Unit Name: BU-21BD53 Optical Pick-up Name: OP Assy (A-MAX.2) But I found the BU-30 and BU-1 as the part of CD compro here and I am not sure that this 2 parts can be used instead of BU-21BD53.
