Epiphany, initialize disk as Hi-MD and voila! it shows up on explorer. Now all I need is a HI-MD player for the stereo and all is good. Do all Hi-MD devices play MP3 files or is ATRAC the best resolution audio format for these? Thanks! P

Feeling like a total noob reading all this, USB\VID_054C&PID_0186&REV_0100 USB\VID_054C&PID_0186 Hardware IDs showing in Win7 32 Pro for my Hi-MD Walkman MZ-DH710, bought here in Canada from the Source but Sony support says was Latin Markets only, Puerto Rico, Central America, go figure where they source their stuff from Trying to use the MP3 player function of the device but it's not showing up in explorer, wmp or anything but ss. Drag and drop is supposed to work on this no? I assume from the AMD386 portions of these edited .inf files that everything is still 64bit application or does the last one work for win32? Impressive that you guys are still using this stuff as I have just lucked into a bunch of equipment and disks and like the way they work - sort of... iPods just don't work for me, off hand what is the highest bit rate hat these devices support?
