yea it has the factory upgraded firmware. And some people may prefer the look of the HD1 for the HD5 as my friend who has one has said. I guess I would be willing to sell as well $115 shipped.

Like the title says I would like to trade my sony nw-hd1 for maybe a sony viao the 40 gb or a sony hd-5. I of course will put fourth some cash as well to make the trade more even. My hd1 has the firmware upgrade from sony for direct mp3 transfer. I am new here but I have made a few transactions on head-fi under the name headguy. The overall player is in good condition with some scratches on the bottom from putting it in the base.
