thank you for your quick reply. will there be any problem with the quality of the sound if i use the mz nh 700 instead of the mz rh1 for the sound transfer? because it is very important for me to get the best sound quality from the sounds that i recorded... thank you very much.... iam sorry for my silly questions but i dont know anything about mini discs, so, any hi md supported disc will do me the job? will mz nh 800 still do the job?

Hello everybody. Another newbie to this forum here. i am a student in film studies, and i did a short film for my course, and i used a sony mz rh1 hi md discman to record the sound for the movie. i used a hi md disc and i recorded in PCM mode. the thing is that i do not have access to the discman now and i want to transfer the sounds that i recorded from the hi md disc to my pc in a mp3 or wav format using the sonicstage. So i have to buy a hi-md disc player only because i want to transfer the sound from the discs that i have...my question is do i have to buy the sony MZ RH1 or i can buy another cheaper model so as to do my job? as you can understand i dont want to buy the MZ RH1 because i find it expensive, will i be able to do my job with another sony model?
