  1. Thank you for your feedback! To clarify, when I'm talking about an adapater, I'm referring to literally the prongs on the AC adapter that plug into the wall. Because the US and Europe use different wall plates and have different power delivery specifications, and converter needs to be used to use the European AC adapter in a US electrical outlet.
  2. What is the difference between the EU and US model of this (or any other model for that matter). I sold a MZ-RH1 on ebay that was the EU model (that I used without a problem here in the US) and my buyer is frustrated that its an EU model (I had not specified the model's region during sale, but none the less..). I realize that the power adapter is different, however adapter converters can be purchased to solve this problem and I'm willing to compensate the buyer for the cost of an adapter. I'd prefer not to go through the process of the buyer returning this however if there are other differences I need to be aware of these so I'm not misrepresenting the product. Thank you!
  3. I had purchased brand new MZ-RH1 and used only once for a specific purpose. I had no need for the unit any longer and decided to list it for sale on EBay. Unfortunately my buyer has received the device but while trying to perform optical recording, is receiving errors during the "writing" step. I'd like to see if anyone here can assist or might know of a reason this would be occuring. I'd prefer to have a happy buyer! Below is a step-by-step of how is he going about doing the recording: Brand new Sony "Lumina Series 74" MD, same MD works fine with JVC desktop MD system and Denon DMP-R70 Sony power supply to MD body Optical cord from CD source (line out) to MD (lne in) Insert MD, shows "blank disc" Start CD on source, pause and press REC on MD, red indicator light is on and starts recording. Play CD, shows recording. After a track of time. stop MD and start writing data. Then it takes about 3-5 minutes and shows writing error message with beeping sound from headphone. Has anyone experienced this? Are there certain types of disks necessary for doing this type of writing? Any suggestions or ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you!
  4. I have one other question. Is there any device out there aside from the MZ-RH1 that will do what I'm looking for? This is a quite and expensive device and if I don't have to purchase something that expensive, I'd like to find a more affordable option. If this is my only option, I'm willing to buy one and turn around to resell it back into the market after I've used it. Thanks again!
  5. Possibly, I have to get permission from the person who owns them (I'm doing this project for them) and confirm I can get rid of them, but I suspect (as I mentioned) that they will no longer be useful to us. I'd say check back with me in 1 month after the project is done and I'll have an answer. Take care! Ryan
  6. Thanks so much! Im going to try to snag one of those. Will it retrieve track Titles too? If so, what format is the data written in when it comes over to the PC? (given that .wav doesn't hold titles) Thanks again so much
  7. I'm looking to take old minidiscs most likely purchased and recorded around 1995ish era. I assume these would be the first version of ATRAC correct? I would like to get these on my computer for archiving so I can throw away this box of MD's I have. My understanding is that the MZ-RH1 will do this. Is this correct? How about the digital copyright piece? Is this something that will pose a problem? The tracks were recorded originally using standard Analog signal (not digital direct). The tracks are also titled. What is the easiest way to get the tracks from MD to the system without having to do a real-time rip of the audio? Thank you so much! Ryan
