I already complained to the seller about a corroded battery casing on a separate R-70. lol. At the time, I figured the 707 worked just fine since I had seen the TOC change pop up. I must not have played it back right, or I suppose it's possible that the device died between testing it and using it.
I know we replaced a screw on the 707...there's no off chance that could have done something to it, could it have?
I had an engineer clean up the battery casing on the 70....and I think it works just fine, but we'll see, I guess. *grumble*
