03/16/2011 I SENT MY VAIO TO THE SERVICE CENTER IN SAN DIEGO CA.
08/03/2011 BLUE-RAY DRIVE QUIT WORKING
08/09/2011 BLUE-RAY WAS REPLACED
11/11/11 THE 2nd BLUE-RAY QUIT WORKING.
MY WARRANTY RAN OUT 10/03/2011... IVE HAD OTHER MINOR PROBLEMS WITH THIS LAPTOP. I PURCHASED THIS AT BEST BUY AND IT WAS ALMOST $1500.00.
IF THIS WAS A CAR IT WOULD BE CONSIDERED A LEMON!!!! WHO DO I COMPLAIN TO? BOTH TIMES THE BLUE- RAY QUIT WORKING I HAD BURNED 5 CDS ON THE FIRST AND 4 CDS ON THE ONE THAT NO LONGER WORKS. AND THE 2nd BLUE-RAY DRIVE WAS UNDER WARRANTY FOR 90 DAYS AND QUIT ON DAY 92. I FEEL LIKE SONY SHOULD STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY IF IT IS KNOWN TO BE "A LEMON"
