Thankyou for your reply. I think I might as well stay with SS 2.3 as there does not seem any benefit of going to 3.2 as even at 256 i still have over half of the 40Gb left. Once again thankyou for your patience.

Is there much sound difference between 256 and 320

All my songs are in 256 so probably not worth it, or can I rip at 320 as i have seen mentioned. Also how easy is it to install.thankyou for any info.

I have a Pocket Vaio and updated the firmware and to SS 2.3 as soon as i got it. I am quite happy with this but have read here about SS 3.2. Could somebody tell me what you get extra and is it easy to do. I just about managed the download last time but am not very confident with this sort of thing . Any info gladly recieved as long as it's easy to understand. Thanks

I usually keep my viao in the cradle when not in use to keep it charged up . Do you think this could damage the unit over time.

Had my pocket vaio a few weeks now and love it especially with the new firmware. However,1) how do i get the lyrics function to work and 2) is it usual for the battery to be totally dumped and need recharging after 3/4 days of being turned off,3) is atract3+ 256 kb/s the best quality to record. thanks for any info. You Guys really know your stuff
